## What it does

- Pins the chapter list of a YouTube video next to the player, with thumbnails and start times. The current chapter is highlighted and the list follows playback. One click jumps to the start of a chapter.
- Reads chapters from the author's chapter list, timestamps in the video description or the chapter marks on the progress bar.
- Filters chapters as you type (Ctrl+Shift+F, or Cmd+Shift+F on Mac), ignoring capitals and accents.
- Saves timestamp bookmarks on any video, including videos without chapters, each with a name and an optional note.
- Copies a link that opens the video at a chapter or bookmark, and copies chapters or bookmarks as a plain text or Markdown timestamp list.
- Collects all bookmarks in a searchable library and exports them to Markdown, CSV or JSON.
- Loops one chapter for practice and can auto-skip sponsor, ad and promo chapters, with Undo.
- Stays on screen in theater mode and fullscreen. The panel can be dragged, resized and collapsed, and follows YouTube's light or dark theme.
- Works on video pages and live stream replays (youtube.com/watch and /live), not on the YouTube home page or Shorts.

## Good for

Long lectures and online courses, coding tutorials, podcasts and interviews, research, music practice, product reviews and recipes: any long video where you need to find or come back to a specific part.

## Privacy

Two permissions: `storage` (bookmarks and settings in local extension storage) and `activeTab` (the toolbar button). No servers, no tracking, no ads. It runs only on youtube.com.
